Biography
Leibo Liu received his B.Sc. and Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University in 1999 and 2004 respectively. In 2004, Dr. Liu joint Tsinghua University and is currently a professor with School of Integrated Circuits of Tsinghua University. In 2006, 2013 and 2017, he visited IMEC, MIT and University of Oxford as a research scholar. His work has focused on software defined chips, hardware security, cryptographic processors, VLSI digital signal processing. This results in 300+ journal and conference papers, 100+ patents, 7 books, and 1 proposal for the national standards accepted. He has served as an Associate Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Circuits and Systems Magazine, and an Executive Editor Associate Editor-in-Chief of Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering. He is a member of TPCs of Design Automation Conference (DAC) and Asian Solid-State Circuits Conference(A-SSCC). He was Organizing Committee Chair/vice Chair and TPC vice Chair of A-SSCC. He received the first prize of Technological Invention Award by Ministry of Education in 2014, the second prize of National Award for Technological Invention in 2015, Chinese Patent Golden Award in 2015, Fifteen World Leading Internet Scientific and Technological Achievements in 2018, the first prize of the Technological Invention Award by Chinese Institute of Electronics in 2021.
